Its a grand 4th of July holiday, so grand, I'm inside typing away at this so-called journal. Guess it beats completing some overdue projects. At best, a well deserved long weekend.

People tend to skip town during the holiday which leaves an empty and quiet city, a local's nirvana.





In the midst of my transcendent state I managed to catch one my brother's gigs. He was playing in some restaurant downtown which happen to be an old bank dating back to the 1920s. Only a portion of the building was transformed into a restaurant, the other, left closed. I paid no heed to the "keep out" sign and proceeded to get lost.

A quick bathroom break and continued with the rest of my tour

I found my way back before both the restaurant manager and asbestos could get to me and rejoined the party. Great show by the way.

good things

So, over the last two weeks I've systematized a Danish event, enjoyed a fun filled birthday, and ran two Afrobeta shows. All things considered not a bad months' end.

Martin and its Euro affiliates put on an impromptu event at some plush mansion on the bay. I of course was the lucky one chosen to make it all look good.






Mission accomplished. Some of my best work is lighting trees and fountains.

Celebrated my birthday this month, probably the best one yet. D treated me to dinner and a night on the town with some close friends. She also treated me with the ultimate gift, here's whats become of that:






Afrobeta played Ultra last weekend, two shows back to back. Sat. was a warm up to Sunday's closing festival set. I actually switched things up a bit and ran my show from three separate consoles, why?



because that's just how I fucking roll.
