City of bricks

At least that's what i call it.

I flew to Boston this week for a shoot out. I enjoy shoot outs, they're the perfect opportunity to show who's light is bigger, figuratively speaking. The folks at the Majestic theatre are looking to enter the automated world and their choice of lamps were narrowed down to two manufactures. The demonstration was held in this 100+ year old theatre. Anytime I enter a room like this its absolutely jaw-dropping. For me, its not so much the architecture or the intricacy of the gold trim surrounding the room which believe you me, is quite incredible, but more so the feeling you get when standing in the center of the room knowing that some pretty amazing performances have taken place there.

I finished the shoot out (nailed it) and took in all the "greatest performances" feelings i could for one day. I still had enough time though to wander Bean town for a bit before carrying on with my trip.

I walked down Newbury st. for a while and came upon what i thought was a store for all things sewing but it turned out to be some overpriced designer clothing store. I snapped this photo for Abuela, I love you and I miss you.

I had a drink at a bar where apparently, everybody knew my name.

And I saw what I think might be the coolest logo yet.

Nothing like a long walk back to the car in the pouring rain.

I grabbed some dinner and drove out to R.I. where i finished the rest of my trip. Pretty much a bore and tiresome from there but, i was told that........
