Came and Went

This past vacation flew by faster than anticipated. Its interesting how when you're stuck at work and the minutes seem longer than hours yet when you finally have some free time to do the things you've been day dreaming about while fastened to your desk, you come to the realization that there's never enough time in the day.

My days mainly consisted of fishing, eating, learning a new desk, rough housing the chihuahua, and a fast trip to NY. Not necessarily in that order.

I frequent NY quite a bit, mainly for work so it was kind of odd being there on my own time. I stayed with my pops for a few days which was interesting. He lives in a town where the Value is always Fare and the local K-Mart is substituted by an H-Mart.

I wandered around the city for a day looking at galleries and searching for that fine piece of glassware to take home. I was also looking for a place to wreak havoc on but Time Square does a perfectly fine job of that all by itself.

Roaming NY is always fun however, I would of enjoyed having my sidekick there hell raising in the streets with me. Maybe next time.

Before i left to go home i drove out to River Rd which stretches along the Jersey side of the Hudson river. This here has to be the best part about New Jersey:

After an hour and 45 min and 200 shots later:

And just like that, it was over

Wet Dreams

These past two weeks the weather has been nothing but a soak. Much needed but still a major "Fuck you" in the outdoor activities dept. The plus side is that when it all clears, the skies open up to be nothing less than magnificent.

Its always brighter on the other side

Bowling anyone?

Paths less traveled

I'm starting fresh, a face lift if you will on the many events and tasks that will ultimately change my life forever. My apologies if I become a Beef Dick.

This weekend lead me to the wonders of grocery shopping, seeking multiple items from each of the 5 major food groups. Quite honestly I only went to the store because D made me, still fun be that as it may. It was at the store, that I decided to start shooting everything in series. I'll let you know how that works for me.

Dairy

Meats

Vegetables

Fruits

The Gatorade

Work has been a bit of a vortex lately, good thing is I'm on holiday in 2 weeks. It will be a week filled with nothing which is absolutely glorious.

Well, maybe I'll try and squeeze in a little bible study on one of my many late night trips to DnD.
